BRB Modular has had extensive experience in the provision of prison cell blocks, police stations and justice centre development.

In 2007, BRB Modular was awarded the standing offer agreement to supply and install police stations, cell blocks, administration and academy buildings to the Queensland Police Service.

Palm Island Police Station

In November 2004, a riot was sparked after the death of a man in custody. The Palm Island Police Station, Courthouse and Police residence were all burnt to the ground.

BRB Modular was able to provide a permanent Police Station, Courthouse and Residence within days of the riot. Within a relatively short time, the buildings were fully operational and in use by the Queensland Police Service on Palm Island
