Ranger Housing

In 2004, BRB Modular was engaged by the Queensland Environmental Protection Agency to supply and install eco-friendly housing for rangers on Fraser Island. The houses included energy saving features such as solar hot water, water saving showers and long-life fluorescent lighting. The houses were constructed with specialized products which had been tested to withstand coastal conditions.

Buildings were constructed in our Bendigo factory then transported over 1,800 km’s or 1118 miles to waters edge. Modules were then loaded onto a barge and shipped across the water to Fraser Island where they were towed by tractor on a custom made trailer where they were lifted into position by crane.

Display Housing

In addition to one off housing design, BRB Modular also participates in a Delfin Lend Lease display village in the Springfield Lakes Queensland.
